Why We Exist

Because Survival alone is not Enough.

Care Captivate exists to restore dignity, confidence, and holistic well-being for women impacted by homelessness, abuse, and trauma. We complement essential social services with intentional self-care and empowerment experiences designed to nurture healing, inspire hope, and support long-term sustainability.

Care Captivate began in the heart of Brownsville, Brooklyn, rooted in a simple yet sobering truth: women in underserved communities often spend their lives caring for everyone  elsewhile rarely being cared for themselves.

The Problem: Survival Is Exhausting

Women in underserved communities are often the primary caregivers for their families and communities. When navigating homelessness, trauma, or abuse, survival becomes a full-time job.
While traditional services provide critical essentials like food and shelter, safety alone does not create sustainability. Without emotional restoration, women remain stuck in survival mode existing, but not truly living.

The Gap: From Existing to Thriving

Care Captivate bridges the gap between existing and thriving. We partner with shelters and mission-aligned brands to deliver intentional self-care and empowerment experiences that restore dignity, rebuild confidence, and support emotional well-being. Our work helps women move beyond crisis and into a place where healing, growth, and stability are possible.

Who We Serve

Care Captivate serves women and children living in shelters, transitional housing programs, and underserved communities across Brooklyn and New York City, with a focused commitment to Gen Z and Millennial women rebuilding their lives after crisis.

The women we support are often survivors of homelessness, domestic violence, and sexual trauma. They are resilient yet vulnerable—seeking healing, stability, empowerment, and a strong sense of community for themselves and their children.

Our work intentionally centers BIPOC families (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) in underserved NYC neighborhoods, where access to wellness resources, confidence-building programs, and long-term holistic support remains limited.
